Any change to what the RCS knows about a company — siège social, dirigeant, dénomination, activité, forme, capital — must be declared on the guichet unique within 1 month. Corporate changes also require the internal decision + updated statuts, and many require a legal-announcement publication.
Étapes
- Take the corporate decision (associé unique / AG per the statuts) and update the statuts.
- Publish in a support d'annonces légales where required (transfert de siège, dirigeant, dénomination…) — keep the attestation.
- File the modification on formalites.entreprises.gouv.fr with the pièces; pay the greffe fees (varies by act — the guichet displays them).
- Receive the updated Kbis; propagate: banks, insurers, impots (espace pro), URSSAF, clients.
Pièces justificatives
- PV de décision, statuts mis à jour certifiés conformes, attestation d'annonce légale, proof of the new siège (bail/domiciliation) for a transfer, dirigeant ID for a change.

- Declaration within 1 month of the act. Greffe processing usually days-to-weeks.

Pièges connus
- Paying an intermediary triple the real cost for a simple transfert de siège.
- Forgetting the annonce légale — the greffe rejects the file.
- Not updating the espace professionnel address — DGFiP mail lost.
